A life that is led by the Spirit has to come under new management. According to the Apostle Paul, there are only two options: self or Spirit. The one who leads our life will be reflected in what follows our life. When self leads then the results will be what only our nature can produce. When the Spirit leads the results will be what only the Spirit can produce. In this sermon, we explore what it means to live a life that is led by the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit of God clothes us with the power to align our inward life with outward action. The prison we often find ourselves in is an inconsistency between the two. In Galatians 3, Paul refers to this as the prison of the law. We are unable to live up to its obligations. But life  according to the Spirit trusts God to change us inwardly so that we might live differently on the outside – with a whole new wardrobe.
