Psalm 82 invites into the courtroom of God. At first glance, we are the forgotten ones in whom God defends. But as the case continues on we realize that we are the ones one trial. The question we ask in defense, “Who is my neighbor?” In this sermon we are reminded that before God we were the forgotten ones, left feeling unloved, unwanted, and uncertain. Now, through Jesus, we are the adopted ones and are called to defend the forgotten ones in our society. In this sermon we discuss the foster care crisis and ways we can participate in reversing the cycle.
