When God calls out a remnant of people to fulfill His created purpose, He calls them to be pioneers, paving a new way for the settlers who will follow. Throughout the book of Jeremiah we encounter the phrase, “The days are coming…” Mostly, this phrase is used in connected to bad news. But in Jeremiah 31, these words bring good news about the future that is to come. In this sermon, we discuss what implications that has us as individuals and as a Church.
